This approach teaches companies how to convert their traditional supply system into a Kanban system, that allows them to control lean production. Kanban works with visually controlled cards associated with raw material containers. Participants will learn how a manual Kanban works, and its relations to other lean production elements, by getting acquainted with the batch size calculation technique. They will also learn how to automate the process by integrating it to an MRP or ERP system.
