Lean management system
Inspired by the Toyota management system, lean management includes all strategies and processes allowing to create a lean production manufacturing environment, as opposed to mass production. Its credo: increasing the customer service level by supplying only what is needed, when and where it is needed, in the required quantity.
Lean management is therefore a philosophy based on the elimination of wastes and activities that have no actual value for the customer. It encompasses all areas of the company: improvement planning, leadership and human resources management, plant production (zero waste), equipment efficiency (zero failure), quality and customer satisfaction (zero defect), administrative processes (zero bureaucracy), as well as new product and process development (zero delay).
