Production cell design

This approach teaches companies workplace reconfiguration principles and techniques (processes, methods and equipment layout) to achieve the lean production objectives. The creation of production cells is mainly aimed at achieving the single-unit flow, optimizing the operator's work, and significantly reducing the work-in-process. This approach also addresses quality problems resulting from inadequate movement of goods (excessive handling, transportation and storage).
